Sr Backend Engineer .NET (Cod: TN)

This team specializes in troubleshooting and resolving issues, including bugs and change requests, that hinder the creation of new pet insurance policies. This involves the integration of multiple systems, with a particular focus on the backend.

• Development and implementation of web-based and other software solutions using C#.
• Design and implement containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
• Develop and maintain Azure Serverless applications, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of event‑driven systems with existing enterprise infrastructure.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to ensure team skill advancement and consistent application of best practices.
• Maintain up-to‑date knowledge of technology landscape and developments in .NET and cloud architectures, with an emphasis on event‑driven systems.
• Ensure software reliability and security by integrating best‑in‑class tools and practices.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET technologies.
• Familiarity with CMS and front‑end technologies is a plus.
• Proven experience with containerization technologies, preferably Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Azure, including Azure App Services and Azure Functions.
• Strong familiarity with the development and integration of event‑driven systems.
• Experience leading a development team and managing complex software projects.
