The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they collaborate across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes daily operations and long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.
The RoleWe are looking for a Financial Controller with IFRS and Local GAAP experience. You will be responsible for pulling together our accounts and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer in Argentina.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing finances and overseeing financial control, including setting up accounting processes and policies from scratch for Revolut in Argentina
- Participating in product scoping and regulatory mapping to set up financial and accounting products and processes correctly
- Preparing statutory and consolidated GL accounts for Revolut in Argentina in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with IFRS norms
- Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process
- Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
- Preparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
- Managing the accounting policy, ensuring it's up-to-date and latest changes in local GAAP, IFRS, and group policies are implemented
- Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process
- Participating in annual and interim audits
- Advising on accounting and reporting issues
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in banking, finance, and/or a similar controlling function
- Excellent accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
- A structured and logical approach to solving problems
- Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
- Experience within a fast-growing organisation
- Great motivation and focus on delivery
- A degree in accounting
- Fluency in English
- Experience in fintech
