Role: Amazon Accounting Software and Analytics Specialist

Hours: 9am - 5pm Pacific Standard Time

USD Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Amazon Accounting Software and Analytics Specialist provides senior-level expertise in designing, building, and maintaining accounting-focused software for Amazon FBA sellers. They reconcile complex financial data across settlement, return, statement, inventory, and ledger reports, integrating information through the SP API to create a complete, accurate accounting system. They ensure data integrity, support strategic financial decision-making, and optimize reporting workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

• Design, build, and maintain accounting-focused software tailored to Amazon FBA operations
• Reconcile settlement, return, statement, inventory, and ledger reports into a unified accounting system
• Integrate Amazon SP API data to automate financial reporting and data consolidation
• Analyze discrepancies, identify errors, and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Provide insights and reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and analytics teams to streamline accounting workflows
• Maintain compliance with Amazon policies, financial standards, and reporting requirements

• Deep knowledge of Amazon FBA financial reports (settlement, return, statement, inventory, ledger)
• Strong expertise in accounting principles and reconciliation processes
• Experience designing, building, or maintaining accounting software or analytics platforms
• Proficiency with Amazon SP API integration for financial data consolidation
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and familiarity with databases or reporting tools
• Excellent written and spoken English for clear reporting and collaboration
• Ability to work independently, manage complex datasets, and deliver accurate results
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to optimize workflows
